My immediate reaction to that was, "Is he twelve???" I'm dumbfounded that he posted something like that. And, I agree, most of the con information looks to be lifted from Creation's information.

Well, I have heard locally that the Jumpcon site originally used some stuff from the UnitedFanCon (now New England Fan Experience) folks without asking. Apparently some duplicated misspellings made it obvious.

Looked familar me... Kinda like Dragon Con's policies... as in almost word for word.

It's unfortunate, because the Emperor seems like this headstrong child with more money than he knows what to do with. His "aides" (courtiers? :P) are trying the best they can to salvage the con that's sinking quickly. When I asked why the Boston hotel was $229/night, I was told that this was a "normal" price for Shane, being an idle richling. Huh.

I still don't have an answer as to whether guests will be taking EVERY meal with fans. And if they haven't all been informed, then it will be chaos when they arrive and realize this. :/

I'm considering going to Boston (if I can find a cheap flight) just to see the chaos erupt.

Huh. Well, supposedly, the celebs know full well they're eating every meal with the fans and "none have expressed trepidation," according to AltoTrek.

I don't think you are being overly concerned. I've been wondering if the guests know they are doing that many. What guests know seems to depend on if they have con agents and how good they are at their jobs. That Mary and Eddie aren't doing any meals tells me that Erin was thorough in her negotiations. I worry people are going to show up and not realize what they have gotten themselves into.

It's jus gone from the crazy into the sad and pathetic; I've stopped posting a lot because, what else can be said? They're outright lying on the site (things like cancelling the Enterprise Blues Band), that RFP is insane, and it's too late to turn this sinking ship around. I'm fairly certain Boston will go off in some form, but I do wonder how messed up it'll be.

I'm also now very curious if The Emperor will even be there. If I was him I'd be more than a little nervous. Maybe an emergency meeting with his imaginary professional advisors in another city will pop up that demands his attention. LOL!
I just listened to that podcast from March when he was interviewed (Dr. Who) If they are still going to do a live podcast from Boston- Yikes
