You know all that Palin/Beck 2012 talk? Yeah, Glen says no.
But here's why...

Can someone call me in the morning? Several times? I HAVE to get Athena back to the vet to get her stitches out. It's been two weeks and I overslept on Saturday. They open at 8 and I need to be there with her by 8:15 at the latest if I want to make it to work on time. As you may have noticed, getting up in the morning is not my strong suit. I use Snoozester.com every morning and it usually takes more than an hour for me to get up.
Oh, it's raining. Even better. |

Like Allie said the other day, Katee so gets it. :D
She is asked about Kara's feelings for Lee and explains of she loves him but she can't feel free able to just "be" with him where as Sam is completely accepting. She may have married him for the wrong reasons but he was who she needed to be with.
"She realized in that moment that she would never be able to truly give herself to him. There's this weird thing where you can love someone completely but when you're with them you're not as good as you could be. And I think when she was with Lee she doubted herself so much that she wasn't as strong as she could be. When she found Anders...granted she might have married him for the wrong reasons...but when she found Anders she found a person who let her be herself and not have to apologize for it and she truly flourished with him. With Lee she was held back and scared. It was one of those things where she realized she would never find her true potential with Lee. She needed to not be with him."
Also, someone who wasn't me asked her if the Paint sex was rape or not. Verdict seems to be sorta not really. (Her first response was "I don't know") |

Katee Sackhoff spills on 24—and talks Starbuck's fate
I really hate the cutesy set up the reporter uses for the interview.
. "Dana is permanently happy," Sackhoff said.
LOL, that's a nice change of pace for Katee.
BTW, what really happened to Starbuck? Here's Sackhoff's theory about her ambiguous conclusion on Battlestar Galactica. "So when she at the end was saying goodbye to [Anders], I think that she was saying goodbye to their bodily forms," she said. "I think she knew, especially if he says, 'I'll see you on the other side,' I think she's with him. I think they're both dead, but I think she's with him. That was a decision that we made, because I selfishly wanted her at peace, and the only way to do that was to have her with someone at the end, or to be with the person she wanted to be with. I don't know. That's kind of where I think she is. She's with Michael Trucco playing pyramid in the sky somewhere."

Well. Considering I don't ever think I will ever get these cats out of my house as it seems like they would have to adopted together I might as well rename the kitten. "Tigh" isn't doing it at all. Doesn't fit him.
Needs a BSG name of course. So at this point I am thinking "Lee". His daddy was called Apollo and he looks just like him. He also has the talking down to a fine art (and just weee bit of whiiness.) Right now he is trying to give his two cents by walking on the keyboard and stealing my mousepad. |

Palin slams 'sexist' Newsweek cover
"We chose the most interesting image available to us to illustrate the theme of the cover, which is what we always try to do," he told CNN Tuesday. "We apply the same test to photographs of any public figure, male or female: does the image convey what we are saying? That is a gender-neutral standard."
So y'all would put John McCain on the cover in his gym shorts? Palin is very adept at making an ass out of herself in the media. Do we really need to give her more ammo to complain about the "Liberal media". When I first saw the cover I assumed she had posed for it and was all WTFery. Finding out if was snagged from a Runners World article made sense as it was in context and appropriate there.
Nevermind the blatant gender issues here that make me head/desk. I don't like Palin but this is unfair. |

This is a "teaser" for a TV show that is currently being pitched to the networks. The actor in the clip is Michael Trucco from Battlestar Galactica. Michael has not signed on to play the role...but he is interested if we can sell it to a network. Please give us a rating and share the video with your friends. Bruce Willis is on board to Executive produce and has agreed to star in the pilot as well as 2-3 episodes per season. |

As I never got beyond the pilot...
Fan wanking is always fun. When the PEOPLE WHO MAKE THE SHOW start it is even better. Those writers are something else
So, sexist...racist...and crying that being a WHITE MALE is so hard because they are always discriminated against.
Just based on these comments I can only imagine what sort of amazing wonder the show has been like. |

Richard Eldredge tweets that the Southern Voice and David, Atlanta’s leading gay publications, have been shut down. Eldredge says staffers came to work today to find the locks changed.
Yeah, umm...they didn't bother to inform the staff. So we now have no Gay publications in this state. Nice. |
